Hydrofobic Fluid RUT N

Description

RUT N is an aqueous solution of sodium methylsiliconate (CAS No. 16589-43-8). Appearance: fluid from colourless to brown color. Availability of finely divided precipitate.

  • mass fraction of silicon not less than 5%;
  • alkalinity in terms of NaOH (13 - 19)%;
  • density at the temperature (20 ± 0.5) °C (1,15 -1,30) g / cm.
Package

Container IBC 1 m³, plastic drums or steel drums of 200 dm³, 250 dm³.

Warranty period

Warranty period of 1 year in storage from the date of manufacture.

Application

It is used to modify drilling fluids during drilling for oil and gas wells. It allows to:

  • provide increased lubricity;
  • reduce the flow of water into the drilling mud from the rock;
  • reduce and stabilize the viscosity of the drilling fluid.
